Yesterday when I went to the mall I saw a rack with t-shirts that had “I love Haiti” printed on the front in one of my favourite stores. It was a limited t-shirt edition, specially designed to help the victims of the Haiti catastrophe. The shirts are sold for 4.95€ with the whole amount donated to the earthquake victims in Haiti.

I thought it was a real great idea and bought one. In my opinion it is great that there are still so many organisations trying to help Haiti. Often the help is only short-lived and after a week or so the catastrophe and its victims are forgotten. But this doesn’t help the people affected by catastrophes. They need the help not only for a week but for a longer period of time, so the destroyed can be rebuilt and the victims can get the support they need to start a new life.

With the t-shirts sold in all NewYorker stores you can contribute a little to help the victims of the Haiti catastrophe and also help reminding other people so the victims won’t be forgotten and still get help to get their lives back in order.

And, actually the t-shirts look pretty cool!
