Being creative & observant is a must when you are a photographer. There have been several occasions that I have had a vision in my head of a pic that I wanted to take. It is important to pay attention to those visions and see them through. Just like having goals, visions need to be completed.

I had this vision of my Sister, Kelly Young, and her eyes. They are gorgeous all by themselves, but when accompanied by a hot pink wig, eye lashes and some fresh pink roses, they really stand out. I wanted to give her a a good profile pic that she could use and show her how beautiful she is through my eyes. She was a lot more cooperative than I thought she would be, but I think that’s because she trusted my vision. The end result of my vision turned in to reality is that my Sister gets to see herself the way everyone else does and now has a nice piece of artwork for her home.

Even if no one else understands or sees your vision the way you do, follow through with it any ways.
