Hey everyone! I’m Seraphina, most of you know me from Twitter. I’m one of the founders of Awholelotofwhatever.com. We’ve started a new section of our site, dedicated to what we think is Hot Fashion. We encourage all of you to send in articles about fashion that you love, and wear and we guarantee you’ll get a spot on the site. We thought it would be fun if we shared our personal styles with you first. So to kick things off I’m dragging you into my closet, as I break down an outfit I came up with.

As you will realize, I don’t have a very “normal” sense of fashion. I like to be bold, creative, and expressive. I love to mix and match accessories and clothes and come up with my own outfits. In this look, I’ve combined a classy Victorian corset with a punky jean skirt and metal studded belt. I added the handcuffs on the second belt for an extra dramatic touch.

This look is really simple to put together, and it can be worn almost anywhere. Trip to the mall, concert with your favorite band-whatever. In this look, I traded the jean mini skirt with a pair of grey skinny jeans (which you can’t see) and added the faux pilot trooper hat and plaid scarf for a more winter friendly look. The bold splash of colors and rockin belts and corset still add the proper amount of edginess. Sun glasses and scarves are two of my favorite accessories.

I think each look, with the skirt or pants, looks great with a pair of classic Chucks. Check out the Converse shoe store online and find the perfect pair for you! You can even custom design your own pair online!

So…this is my style. Love it or hate it, its who I am. I believe clothes are a form of self expression that should be taken advantage of. It’s an art form. To dress like everyone else and wear what everyone else thinks is “hot” or “in” would be boring. So stand out, be daring, be bold, be you! If you want to walk around wearing neon pink leggings and a plaid kilt for the rest of your life, go for it! I’m dying to make a dress our of colored cellophane wrap…but thats a story for another time.
