Rumors are floating about another sequel to the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. While Disney has confirmed they are working on a sequel, all of the hoopla is over who will be in it, what the plot will be, who’s going to direct, who’s writing the screenplay, etc. It was confirmed by producer Jerry Bruckheimer that a script is being worked out. It has not yet been determined whether this will be only one movie or the beginning to a whole other trilogy. The fourth movie is said to be based off a book called, “On Stranger Tides” by Tim Powers. It is also supposed to be focused around the quest for the fountain of youth, as insinuated by the ending in Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End, where Jack steals the map to the fountain from Barbossa. We really hope Disney announces more information soon. In the meantime here is a very cool fan made trailer for the movie:
